Concept · 01 The Postcard

The site IS a postcard, and you handle it like one. A giant flippable card with a handwritten message on the back, click-anywhere franking stamps, taped-down dispatch cards, and a passport page that gets stamped as you scroll. Daylight, playful, tactile — the fun half of the brief leading, with the polish underneath.

Concept · 02 Departures

The airport at night. Terminal SE24, a live clock, and a working split-flap board that clatters through the alphabet to spell KEIRA, then keeps cycling your taglines like flight announcements. A boarding pass for a hero, gates instead of content cards, and a flight log with honest statuses. Sleek, cinematic, jokes smuggled into the details.

Concept · 03 The Cover Story

You, on the cover of your own magazine. Issue 001. Your golden-hour photo set inside a giant first-class postage stamp with perforated edges and a franked postmark over the corner. Editorial coverlines, a pull quote spread, a subscriptions desk. The most grown-up of the three — this is the "creator business" version.

Concept · 04 The Group Chat

The site is your phone, and you text everyone the brand. Messages arrive with typing indicators as they scroll, a playable voice note, your mum asking if you've eaten, location pins, and quick replies people can actually tap. The newsletter signup is the message bar itself. The most youthful of the four, and the writing IS the design.

Concept · 05 The Landing Card

An official arrivals form that you've filled in badly. Occupation: professional leaver. Length of stay: back eventually. Rubber stamps slam onto each section as it's processed, a border officer leaves red-pen notes in the margins, and the newsletter is the tear-off slip at the bottom. Deadpan, bureaucratic, and the purest expression of the dry voice.

Concept · 06 The Journal

The proper website: a real multi-page site with a blog, an about page, and a work-with-me page for brands. Every trip post ends with "The damage", a full cost breakdown box that could become your signature format. This is the business engine, and it pairs with any of the other five: pick a concept as the front door, and The Journal is the house behind it.

How to choose (a guide for the chronically indecisive)

Open all six on your phone as well as a laptop — they behave differently. Notice which one you instinctively scroll slowest through. And remember the brief was "sleek and professional but also youthful and fun": every concept mixes both, they just pour in different orders. Concept 06 is special: it can be the site behind any of the others. If you love pieces of two different ones, say so — a hybrid is completely doable. Reply with a number, a rant, or a voice note transcript. All accepted.
